Grants and Scholarships

This is a list of available grants that Shooting Australia is aware of and is by no means a complete list.

Emerging Athlete Pathways – QLD State Government

The Emerging Athlete Pathways (EAP) program supports eligible young athletes, coaches and officials aged 10-18 years to progress on a development pathway by providing financial assistance to help alleviate the costs associated with attending state, national and international events.

Individual Athlete Program – South East Sports Academy

The South East Sports Academy (SESA) Individual Athlete Program (IAP) is a scholarship program that enhances the development of talented athletes in the South East region of NSW.

The IAP is for athletes aged between 12 to 18 years who are competing at a high level in their chosen sport or sports. Scholarships are available to athletes who reside and attend school in the South East Region. Scholarships will be awarded based on performances by the athlete at national, state or regional level over the past three years. Athletes with a disability are encouraged to apply

Volunteer Grants 2023/24 – Department of Social Services

Volunteer Grants support the work of local community organisations by enabling the inclusion of vulnerable people and promoting awareness to increase participation in volunteering.

The 2023–24 Volunteer Grants Opportunity is expected to open for applications in the second half of 2023.

Grants of between $1,000 and $5.000 will be available to assist eligible not-for-profit community organisations support the efforts of their vounteers. Examples of what grant funding can assist with include small portable equipment purchases, contributions towards the cost of training volunteers, reimbursement of fuel costs for volunteers and undertaking background screening checks for volunteers.
