Introducing Shooting Australia’s Performance Manager – Kathryn Periac

Shooting Australia has today announced the appointment of Kathryn Periac to the role of Performance Manager. Kathryn will be responsible for the leadership and management of Shooting Australia’s High Performance Program including National Squads and Teams within the Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Para-Shooting programs.

Kathryn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in high performance sport to her new role and is highly-regarded across the sector as someone who works tirelessly to build effective, strong and enduring relationships with athletes, coaches, performance support staff, and other stakeholders. “These relationships have enabled me to support athletes and coaches to Olympic and Paralympic medal success in multiple sports for Australian and British Teams”, Kathryn says. “My former roles have included National Manager Paratriathlon, VIS Athletics Program Manager, High Performance Manager for Athletics Australia and Senior Performance Manager Disability at UK Athletics. The personal as well as performance success of each athlete is my priority, and seeing lives change through sport is my highlight.”

Shooting Australia welcomes Kathryn to the team where she will commence her role on 16 May 2022.
