Round 1 of the Compete Together pistol postal competition series kicked off over the weekend. Compete Together is a three round series of pistol postal competitors that will be held between October and December, 2021.
Compete Together has a strong emphasis on inclusivity, with entries received from Able Bodied and Para Athletes as well as Men, Women and Junior competitors. There have been a large number of entries received from within NSW, VIC, WA, QLD, NT, SA and ACT giving competitors an opportunity to shoot their scores on their local ranges using paper or electronic targets and in accordance with ISSF rules.
The top 8 competitors in each of the events (10m Air, 25m Sport and 25m Rapid Fire) will make it through to the finals that will be held between 4 and 5 December.
