There has been a change to the Shooting Australia’s 2025 Junior World Cup (JWC) Competition Selection Criteria relating to the Performance Window (i.e. clause 4(d).
The Performance Window specific to the 2025 JWC Team selection is the specified length of time an athlete has to achieve an Average Performance Score (APS) that meets or exceeds the Minimum Performance Score (MPS) and therefore be eligible for consideration for selection.
Effective from 13 March, the Performance Window will now conclude on 24 March for all disciplines.
2025 JUNIOR WORLD CUP SELECTION CRTIERIA – UPDATED 13 MARCH, 2025
This change to the Performance Window ENABLES:
BISC Cup Pistol 21-23 March
NSW State Titles Shotgun (SISC) 21-23 March
It should be noted that the selection criteria is very clear that to be selected to the Junior World Championships team, an athlete “…must have achieved an APS that meets or exceeds the MPS for the relevant event…”.
This amendment to the JWC Competition Selection Criteria WILL NOT:
