AUS currently has 12 quotas; two for Women's Trap, one for all other events except Men's Trap.

No. There are no more competitions open to AUS athletes to win quotas for Paris. BUT there is still a possibility that James Willett can be allocated a quota based on his QROG Ranking. This quota would be mean that James would represent AUS in Men's Trap at the Games.

QROG stands for Qualification Ranking for the Olympic Games. You can find more information about QROG's on the ISSF Website.

The leaders on Shooting Australia's Olympic Nomination Leader Boards will be nominated to the AOC for selection to the AUS Olympic Shooting Team IF they also meet the ISSF's eligibility criteria. You can find more information about Olympic eligibility on the ISSF Website.

AUS will be required to return the quota to the ISSF for allocation to another country or athlete.

Yes. The AOC may apply to the ISSF to move a quota from one event to another event in the same gender (i.e. from one Men's event to another Men's event), BUT there is no guarantee that the ISSF will approve the move.

Shooting's Olympic Nomination Panel will provide a recommendation to the AOC where a quota swap might improve AUS Shooting's success in Paris.

Not until after the World Cup in Munich (Pistol/Rifle) when we know if quotas can't be filled because athletes haven't achieved a QROG.
