Molly Bretag Awarded Sport Australia Hall of Fame Scholarship for 2025

Shooting Australia congratulates South Australian Molly Bretag on being awarded a Sport Australia Hall of Fame Tier 2 Scholarship for 2025.

Molly, who competes in the Women’s Trap shotgun event, is the 7th target shooting athlete since 2012 to be presented with the opportunity to be part of this scholarship program.

Performance Pathways Manager Aurelie Gibson commended Molly on the scholarship and acknowledges her dedication to the sport. “This scholarship is a credit to Molly for the tremendous consistent hard work she puts in, and with the support of her coaches and family. It is a well deserved opportunity and will provide assistance to Molly as she continues her high performance development. Molly is now in her final stages of preparation before her departure to the ISSF 2024 Junior World Championships in Lima, Peru. This will be her third consecutive Junior World Championships, debuting in 2022 where she was part of the bronze medalling Trap Women Junior Women Team and in 2023 in Changwon, Korea, made the individual Trap Women’s final, placing 4th.
