Each recipient of a Shooting Australia Officiating Scholarship has been endorsed as suitable for inclusion in this program by the recipients national member organisation. Each scholarship will be for a twelve month period and will focus on ISSF officiating in the relevant discipline. Scholarship recipients will be mentored throughout the program with support from other senior officials and will be allocated to a minimum of three Shooting Australia Endorsed events to gain experience in ISSF officiating.
Shooting Australia will facilitate ISSF courses to provide oppotunitities for individuals to:
Use the courses as a refresher for those who already have an ISSF licence
Have an opportunity for those newly seeking an ISSF licence
Eligibility to Participate
Refresher
Must have current ISSF Licence
Must have demonstrated domestic ISSF event officiating in the previous two years
Has interest in continuing to participate in domestic ISSF event officiating
May have interest in officiating at International events either within Australia and/or overseas
If outside of Australia, has received endorsement from your National Federation to participate
Seeking new ISSF licence
Has national level officiating accreditation with the relevant national organisation ie Pistol Australia, Target Rifle Australia or Australian Clay Target Association
Has shown an interest in domestic ISSF event officiating in the previous two years
Has interest in continuing to participate in domestic ISSF event officiating
Can demonstrate a sound knowledge of ISSF rules
May have interest in officiating at International events either within Australia and/or overseas
If outside of Australia, has received endorsement from your National Federation to participate
An ISSF course is not currently scheduled, but if you are interested in participating as either a refresher or you are seeking a new ISSF licence, please email office@shootingaustralia.org.
