Paris 2024 Olympic Games Nomination Criteria

Shooting Australia (SA) is pleased to provide its Nomination Criteria for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

PARIS 2024 OLYMPIC GAMES NOMINATION CRITERIA

The Nomination Criteria details how SA will consider athletes for nomination to the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) for selection to the 2024 Australian Olympic Team. The primary objective of the Nomination Criteria is to nominate athletes to the AOC who have the best possible chance to achieve success at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Shooting’s Olympic Nomination Criteria has been developed through a collaborative process between the SA’s High Performance (HP) Staff and HP Representatives from SA’s Member Organisations. It has now been approved by both the SA Board and the AOC.

Understanding Shooting’s Olympic Nomination Criteria

A flowchart capturing the key components of the Paris 2024 Olympic Nomination process is provided below. This flowchart should be read in conjunction with (i.e. not instead of) the Paris 2024 Olympic Nomination Criteria. A Q&A document will also be published soon.
