2024 NATIONAL SQUAD CATEGORIES

In 2024, there will be two National Squad categories:

• Performance Squad
• Pathways Squad

2024 National Squad Criteria

 

2024 NATIONAL SQUAD APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS

• Performance Squad: No application process is required for the selection of athletes to the Performance Squad. The Selection Panel will make selections by the end of October 2023.
• Pathways Squad: Athletes wishing to be considered for the Pathways Squad will need to complete an online application form. This online application form will be available from 26 September, 2023 and will close at 11:59pm on Monday 9 October, 2023. No late applications will be accepted. The Selection Panel will make selections by mid November 2023.

AUSTRALIAN INSTITUTE OF SPORT (AIS) ATHLETE CATEGORISATION IN 2024

Only athletes who are members of SA’s National Squads can be considered for Athlete Categorisation with the AIS in 2024.
